Question about clomid and provera?

Okay, I went to the OB GYN today for the first time (I've been to my other family doctor for my girly exam, but this was my first time to a real OB GYN) anyway, I have very irregular periods, and my hubby and I are TTC #1, so he prescribed me clomid and provera, but when he was telling me when and how to take the medication, he wasnt very clear, so can someone tell me exactly how I am suppose to do this? The prescription for provera is for only one fill, and the clomid has 3 re-fills. From what I understood, I take the provera, and that is suppose to induce my period, then after the period is done, I wait till the second day after my period ends, and start taking clomid, and during the 5 days I'm taking clomid, my hubby and I do the baby dance.. Is that correct? Please let me know! Thanks

Also, this is my first time using this so I dont want to mess it up! I just went to the doctor today and got both prescriptions here at home, so should I start the provera tonight? Also, what kind of side effects should I expect?
I am only asking because several people are on the same exact medication and have to take it the same exact way...

When is the best time to take clomid durng the day?

Im going to be starting my clomid tabs in 5 days, just wondering when the best time to take them was. I heard that night is the best due to the fact you sleep off most of the side effects.
If you take them at night do you need to have a full stomach?? Like can i take them just befre i got to bed or just after tea??
And how long does it take for the side effects to go ?? 10 hrs or more??
